Kierann Bailey
My name is Kierann Bailey and I am from a rural village from Alaska called Unalakleet. It was in Unalakleet where I developed my love of aviation. Unalakleet is not accessible by road and can only be reached by boat, plane, and snowmachine. During my childhood I would watch with my face pressed up against the window as planes landed on the runway, the only paved part of the village. I am currently studying at the Univeristy of Alaska Anchorage for a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology and a Business minor. I plan on graduating in the spring of 2023 and work in the aviation industry upon graduation.
