West Air Flight Training is a part 61 flight school which gives you the flexibility to do your training at your own speed and in the most cost efficient way.
Intro Flight
Intro flights are a great way to introduce you to aviation, as well as help you determine if you would like to continue pursuing flight training.
Medical Certificate
Before you first solo, you must receive an airman medical certificate. For more information please click below.
ground School
In order to receive your private pilot’s license you must pass an FAA Private Pilot written exam. For More information please visit our resource page or click the link below.
New student requirements
We are a Part 61 flight school. In order to attend flight training at a part 61 flight school, you have to be or have one of the following:
A United States citizen.
A legal permanent resident.
A work status (H-type visa) with extended stay privileges
A refugee in asylum status with appropriate DHS documentation
A foreign national on an F-1 (academic visa) and be enrolled and attending the college or university listed on the F-1.
