Lucas Rhea
My name is Lucas Rhea, I am a Helicopter Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) here at West Air Flight Training. I have been involved in aviation for most of my adult life as a Wildland firefighter working on and supervising Helitack crews which piqued my interest in becoming a pilot. My first experience was a demo flight 10 years ago and I was hooked! I have now been instructing for over 9 years with experience in Robinson and Schweitzer products. I enjoy flight instructing and helping other people meet their aviation goals and sharing my passionfor helicopter piloting. My goals in aviation are to become a utility pilot and ultimately take my background in Wildland Fire and combine it with my pilot career to fly Helitack operations.
