My passion for aviation started when I learned that my friend's dad was building an airplane. At 16, I purchased a single seat ultralight airplane which needed to be rebuilt. At the time, I didn't know the difference between a nut and a bolt. I learned each part one step at a time. At 18, I interned at the place where these ultralights are built and that's where I had my first solo. Since then, I've been flying and teaching airplanes, paragliders, and paramotors. I spent 7 years opening and operating a successful tandem paragliding business and am now happy to be here to share my passion of flying at West Air Flight Training.
Aside from aviation, I've spent a considerable time living outside of the US including Colombia, Mexico, and most notably, Thailand. In my future, I hope to work for a major airline while spending as much time with my friends in Thailand.
