Ryan Wasinger
My name is Ryan Wasinger and I was born and raised in Hutchinson, KS where I began my aviation journey in 2011 earning my PPL at KHUT. My wife Taylor and two sons are my whole world, and I love that my sons will have the opportunity to be raised around aviation. In 2016 I graduated from Kansas State University, commissioned into the U.S. Air Force and attended Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) at Vance AFB, OK. I have since been stationed in 5 states and have had the unique experience of flying both manned and unmanned aircraft around the globe for over 1,200 combat hours. In 2023 I earned my CFI and Gulfstream G550 type rating which have enabled me to do my favorite thing in aviation – teach! Both here at West Air Flight Training and at CAE Las Vegas’s newest training facility on the G550 program.
